PURPOSE:To confirm the dynamic characteristic test result of an A/D converter with a visual observation by being equipped with a high purity sine wave generator, a clock generator, an initial phase arithmetic part, a sample phase information string arithmetic part, an information rearranging means and an image displaying part. CONSTITUTION:To an A/D converter 6 of a measuring object, a high purity sine wave signal fs is supplied from a generator 5 and the sampling clock of a frequency fc is supplied from a generator 7. Based on a converting information string D(n) of the output of a measuring object 6, a sampling frequency fc and a sine wave frequency fs, an arithmetic part 8 obtains initial phase information phi, and further, an arithmetic part 9 obtains a sample phase information string P(n) based on phi, fc and fs. Continuously, an information rearranging means 9 rearranges the sample phase information string P(n) in the sequence of the size and rearranges a converting information string D(n) of the output of the measuring object 6 in the sequence of the sample in the phase of 0-2 pi. One side of rearranged P(n) and D(n) is image-displayed as respective inputs of X coordinates and other side is image-displayed as respective inputs of Y coordinates. By the constitution, fs and fc added to the measuring object can be freely selected and a dynamic characteristic test result can be confirmed with a visual observation.
