INTERCONNECTION MODULE, INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM AND TERMINAL BLOCK

PURPOSE:To obtain an interconnection module which can be easily attached to or detached from an apparatus or a device to be tested, by a method wherein a terminal block is supported inside a frame material in such a way that a bank of a connector can be accessed at the front of the frame material. CONSTITUTION:A terminal block 10 supports two or more electrical connectors 12 inside a housing 14. A bank of the connectors can be accessed at the front 16 of the housing. The connectors 12 come into contact with a cable which is extended to the back through a rear face 18. Electrical conductors 19 are extended to an electric apparatus to be tested. Openings 21 which pierce protrusions 20 are connected, in a sliding manner, to alignment pins which project to the outside from a printed-circuit card coupled with the connectors 12. Right-angled corners 23 and round corners 24 are provided at the housing 14; the terminal block 10 is inserted correctly into an interconnection module 30. Openings 22 in a lateral direction pierce the housing 14 and accept slender rods 32 in a sliding manner. The terminal block 10 can be detached from the module when the rods are removed.
