PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly and disassembly of a canoe, by providing detachably a covering ring on the shell body in which the stern into which the bow has been fitted can be housed, and by making it possible to connect the shell body to the bow and the stern with buckles. CONSTITUTION:The hooks F (not shown) in a shell body A are engaged with the shaft rob S (not shown) in a bow B and a stern C, and after respective connecting surfaces has been joined, they are tightened by buckles L1. And, on the shell body A, a cover ring D and a sheet 5 are assembled by means of bolts 4, and projections and recesses are combined so that the cover ring D cannot be moved, and then both are tightened by buckles L3 to assemble the whole canoe. Then, in the case of disassembly, the reverse operation to the above is carried out. And, in the case of packaging, the bow B is fitted in the stern C, and this is housed in the shell body A, and then the cover ring D is fitted on the shell body A. Thus, the assembly, disassembly, and packaging of the canoe can be facilitated.
