PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of fitting of an image sensor by providing a referential positioning jig between the image sensor and a light source. CONSTITUTION:When an image sensor I is set, a slit plate 20 is erected and set so that a light from a light source K enters the image sensor I through a slit of the slit plate 20. When the image sensor I is employed, the slit plate 20 is laid down so as to conduct sensing of a work piece. At the time of replacement or checking of the image sensor I, the slit plate 20 is erected, and the adjustment of the position of the image sensor I is conducted in the same way as in setting it.
