PURPOSE:To shorten the time for transportation of plural diaphragm by transporting the diaphragms is the lump by means of linking them together with a beam using bolts and lock nuts. CONSTITUTION:Upon providing tapped holes for lifting purpose on the top of plural number of upper half diaphragms 1a through 1d, a beam 8 arranged in parallel to the center shaft of a turbine and a diaphragm 1 are linked together with plural number of bolt 9. A lock nut 10 is screwed to the bolt 9 and a washer 11 is fitted on. A spacer 13 is provided between each diaphragm. The beam 8, then, is lifted up with a crane to transport the diaphragm in the lump. By this method, the transportation time of plural diaphragm can be shortened.
