PURPOSE:To extremely shorten the data retransmitting time when abnormality occurs by securing such constitution where a transmission means recognizes the number of a specific block where data has the abnormality in transmission/ reception via a counting means in case some abnormality is detected in the data transmission/reception or the procedure of handshake control. CONSTITUTION:In case the level of a data strobe signal is kept at '0' for a prescribed time or longer, the output '1' of a shift register 31 informs the abnormality of the data strobe signal to a CPU 11. A shift register 32 monitors the duration of time during which a receiving signal is kept at '0'; while a shift register 33 monitors the duration of time during which the receiving signal is kept at '1' respectively. A counter 41 counts the frequencies where the receiving signal is set at '1'. The CPU 11 transmits data again via a data block specified by the output of the counter 41 immediately after reception of outputs of registers 31-33.
