PURPOSE:To obtain a seat cushion with different hardnesses locally without recessed grooves between foam bodies by a method wherein the bottom force and top force are split and a cavity is partitioned and subdivided by putting thin partitions between the split surfaces of the split molds and raw foaming materials, which are different in kind from one another, are poured in the respective partitioned cavities and expanded. CONSTITUTION:A molding tool 30 consists of a bottom force 31 and a top force 32 so as to form a cavity 33 having a shape of a seat cushion formed by the inner surface of the bottom force 31 and the inner surface of the top force 32. The bottom force 31 and the top force 32 respectively consists of three split molds comprising both side parts and a central part 31a-31c and 32a-32c. Before pouring raw foaming materials, the respective split molds 31a-31c and 32a-32c are closed together through thin partitions 35a and 35b made of film, woven fabric or the like so as to form an integral molding tool 30. As a result, the thin partitions 35a and 35b are put between the respective split surfaces of the lower mold 31 and the upper mold 32 so as to partition the cavity 33 of the molding tool into three partitions or both the side parts 33a and 33b and the central part 33c. Next, different raw foaming materials 36a, 36b and 36c are poured from the raw material inlet ports 34a, 34b and 34c of the top force into the partitioned cavities 31a, 31b and 31c. |
