PURPOSE:To adjust an ATDC sensor in the sufficiently agitated state of a developer so that an adjustment operation is facilitated in the adjustment of the ATDC sensor by agitating the developer for the prescribed time clocked by a timer and displaying the agitation under execution and the end of the agitation by display elements. CONSTITUTION:This display device is so constituted as to display the timing when the adjustment can be made at the time of adjusting the sensor (ATDC sensor) AS2 which detects the content ratio of the toner in the developer after the developer is freshly loaded into a developing device. An inspection mode is selected by a switch operation and is inputted to the control means constituted of microprocessors 200, 300 at the time of adjusting the ATDC sensor AS2. The control means starts the agitating operation of, for example, the 2nd developing device 6 and controls the display element 124 to display that the agitation time is under clocking by measuring the lapse of the required agitation time. The agitation is stopped when the clocking ends, then the display element 124 is displayed in the state different from the display state of the above-mentioned display state to indicate that the agitation is completed and the sensor AS2 is ready to be adjusted. The sufficient agitation and adjustment operations are thereby facilitated. |
