摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the ease of starting at a high temperature of an engine for which fuel injection rate is increased based on the ambient temperature of the engine at the time of a high temperature start by changing the fuel injection rate based on the number of repetition of cranking operations. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 21 is operated to make a start switch 21a on at the time of starting an engine, a fuel increase compensation factor is first calculated at an ECU 20 based on a fuel temperature sent from a fuel temperature sensor 7 and from a map stored in advance in a ROM 20b. Next, a value of the number of cranking is increased by increments and the value is cleared to zero at the time of turning the switch off. An actual fuel increase compensation factor is then calculated from the number of cranking and the fuel increase compensation factor. Finally, an actual fuel injection time is calculated by multiplying the compensation factor by a fuel injection time calculated based on the output and the others of a water temperature sensor 15. Then a fuel injection valve 5 is controlled according to the actual fuel injection time.
