PURPOSE:To stably measure the flow rate of fluid with high accuracy for a long period by forming a pivot bearing on one side of the rotating shaft of an impeller and forming a spiral groove bearing on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 32 on a fluid inflow side is fixed to the impeller 31 and the pivot bearing is formed in a boss 33; ad a flat plate 56 made of ceramic is fixed to the end surface of the boss 34 on an outflow side and the spiral groove bearing (flat plates 56 and 57) which is fixed to the end surface of the rotating shaft of a rotor 31 is formed. The rotor 31 is supported with a slight margin in a right-left direction, so when fluid flows in, the boss 34 on the outlet side moves slightly and rotates, so that the tip of the shaft 32 leaves a flat plate precious stone 55. Then a fluid film is formed on the bearing (flat plates 56 and 57) as well, so the rotor 31 rotates substantially without contacting. Thus, the flow rate is measured stably with high accuracy for a long period.
