The invention relates to a partition wall, in particular for partitioning off a shower, a bathtub or similar bathroom facilities, having a plurality of wall segments of which at least two are guided such that they can be displaced horizontally in their respective segment plane. The object of the invention is to improve a partition wall, of the generic type mentioned in the introduction, in terms of its actuation for opening or closing the partition wall. The object has been achieved according to the invention in that at least two of the displaceable wall segments are coupled to one another via one or more stressed tension elements for the purpose of spontaneous movement transmissions.
