摘要 A radio network is proposed which exhibits at least two radio stations which are arranged spatially separately and operate on different frequency channels, and at least one mobile radio station which successively scans all existing radio channels of the radio network in receiving mode. Each mobile radio station (14) can be individually called by a selective call simultaneously emitted by all stationary radio stations (10, 11). In receiving mode, the mobile radion station (14) carries out a quality assessment of the respective transmission link. According to the invention, a priority channel marking signal is transmitted by the stationary radio stations (10, 11) for this purpose. This signal is radiated at reduced transmitting power (P1) for a first time interval ( DELTA t1) and with normal transmitting power (P2) for a second time interval ( DELTA t2) immediately thereafter. The mobile radio station (14) contains a time measuring device (Z) which is used for determining whether the measurement time (TM) in which the priority channel marking signal is received is shorter or longer than the second time interval ( DELTA t2). If the measurement time (TM1) is shorter, the transmission quality is poor and if it is longer (TM2), the transmission quality is good. If the transmission quality of the transmission link is good, the respective radio channel is stored as priority channel in the mobile radio station (14). <IMAGE>
