PURPOSE:To prevent runaway from occurring at the time of supplying the power by stopping the driving of a medium for a prescribed period after the supply of the power. CONSTITUTION:The output frequency from a generator provided to a disk motor 21 is fedback to a servo control circuit 23. In a reset circuit 200, a reset signal RS is turned to 'H' at a time when a time constant T that is determined depending on C210, R214, and R216 lapses after the supply of the power. Accordingly, the first control device 40 is reset, a switching transistor Tr208 is turned ON, and a switching Tr206 is turned OFF. And thereafter, the motor 21 is controlled by driving signals from the device 40.
