PURPOSE:To reduce the number of accumulation memories and the number of times of access to an external memory for compressing data quantity and to improve the processing speed by permitting plural types of compression means to detect an optimum compression ratio so as to accumulate. CONSTITUTION:Plural types of data compression means 1a-1n are provided and compress the same analog/digital conversion data. A detection means 3 detects the optimum compression data based on a piece of compressed data, and accumulates it together with the compression means information in a memory. A restoration means 4 copes with plural types of compression means, and restores the accumulated compression data according to the compression means information. Namely plural compression methods are applied to conversion data, the compression data with a minimum bit width is detected, packaged with the compression method, and accumulated in a memory. |
