摘要

PURPOSE:To supply coolant to a machining section sufficiently through the openings of meshes, to discharge chips smoothly, and to avoid the blinding of the openings by providing the outer or inner peripheral end of a meshed base material with an abrasive grain sticking section containing super abrasive grains. CONSTITUTION:A single or multi layered meshed ring base material 1 is provided with an abrasive grain sticking section 4 containing super abrasive grains 2 of more than 20wt% of diamond grains or cubic boron nitride on the periphery to form an abrasive cutting wheel or grinding wheel. This meshed base material 1 made of inorganic fiber or organic synthetic fiber has openings of 0.4-1.5mm of which density is 10-30 mesh. This abrasive grain sticking section is bound and fixed with resin series adhesive agent 3 in such a way that the super abrasive grains 2 contained therein wrap up the strings of the meshed base material 1 to the extent the abrasive grains 2 do not blind more than 75% of the area of each opening.
