A device for taking a sample of fibrous particles from their liquid suspension possesses a nozzle which can be connected to a pressurised liquid supply and an inlet funnel connected to a sample feed tube, with, in operation, the nozzle being directed into the inlet of the inlet funnel and with the nozzle and the inlet funnel being immersed in the suspension. |
