The surface of micronized and hydrophilized powder particles of a water-resistant or not readily soluble substance is covered with a coherent layer of a maximum of 0.1 parts by weight of surfactant in a maximum of 10 parts by weight of a binding agent (relative to 100 parts by weight of the substance). Instant granulates or tablets are prepared from a not easily soluble or insoluble antibiotic, and effervescent granulates or tablets are prepared from a water-resistant pharmaceutical substance, of medium to easy solubility, such as acetylsalicylic acid or paracetamol for example. The particles will be preferably attached to carbohydrate crystals by means of a binding agent. For preparation, a solution which, relative to the weight of the particles to be lyophilized, contains at least a surfactant in an amount of 0.01 to 0.1% by weight, and a binding agent in an amount equivalent to five to ten times the weight of the surfactant used, is sucked through a loose mass of particles, at a pressure less than 800 mbar, preferably less than 100 mbar.
|
