PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of a decorative member due to change in atmospheric pressure and the like by fixing said decorative member to a supporting plate and air-tightly bonding said supporting plate to a molded object body while forming a thin walled part on said supporting plate to make it deformed by change in atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin molded object, e.g., a wheel cover for vehicle, is formed with a transparent synthetic resin, and a paint film 21 of a colored paint is coated on its back side of its body 20 except the center part, which, in turn, is formed as a window part 22 through which the inside can be seen. And, a decorative member 24 is installed on the inner part side of the body 20 leaving a space 23 toward the window part 22. In this structure, the decorative member 24 is fixed to the supporting plate 26 via a material 25 having a cushioning property. Also, a recessed receiving edge 26a formed on the peripheral edge of the supporting plate 26 is fitted onto an annular rib which is erectingly formed along the window part 22 of the body 20. And, a thin walled part 26b in a bellows form, etc. is expandibly and contractibly formed on the supporting plate 26.
