PURPOSE:To prevent the base section of a photosensitive body from being exposed so as to reduce the manufacturing cost of the photosensitive body, by making the outer diameter of a flange used when the photosensitive body is mounted on an electrophotographic device the same as the outer diameter of the base body of the photosensitive body and fitting the flange to the photosensitive body by aligning the central axis of the flange with the cylindrical axis of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of the outer diameter section 12 of a flange 1 is the same as the outer diameter of the base body 22 of a cylindrical photosensitive body 2 to be combined with the flange 1 and the length A of the outer diameter section 12 is the same as the length of the non-vapordeposition, section of the photosensitive body 2. The diameter of the fitting section 13 of the flange 1 used when the flange is fitted to the photosensitive body 2 is set to one, at which the section 13 can appropriately be fitted to the socket and spigot 23 of the base body 22. The flange 1 is fitted to the base body 22 by putting the fitting section 13 of the flange 1 in the socket and spigot 23 formed in the base body 22 and, when the flange 1 is fitted, the cylindrical axis of the photosensitive body 2, namely, the cylindrical axis of the base body 22 is aligned with the central axis of the flange 1. Therefore, the outer peripheral surface of the outer diameter section 12 of the flange 1 forms the same cylindrical surface together with the outer peripheral surface of the base body 22 of the photosensitive body 2. |
