PURPOSE:To make positive cooling performable with a compact structure, by installing an air blower, blowing a certain amount of cooling air to the inside of each pulley, in space between both driving and driven pulleys. CONSTITUTION:A driving pulley 3 from a driving shaft 2 of an engine E and a driven pulley 5 from the wheel side both are installed in a housing 1. An air blower 7 of an air pump or the like, blowing off a certain amount of cooling air, in space between both these pulleys 3 and 5, and these pulleys 3 and 5 and a belt 6 are all cooled, thus an adverse effect due to heat of the belt6 is eliminated. Accordingly, a system structure is formed into compact in size and, what is more, a cooling effect is improvable without entailing any structural enlargement in the whole system.
