PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of a screen photographed by a trimming mode, by cutting off a light beam which is made incident on the outside of a screen range which is trimmed and left by an optical path limiting member such as a lens hood and a light shielding plate, etc., when photographing is executed by the trimming mode. CONSTITUTION:In case of a regular photographing mode, a range corresponding to a screen frame A is printed, and in case of a trimming mode, the range of B of a screen is enlarged and printed. At the time of the regular photographing mode, a lens hood 12 is drawn into a lens barrel cover 15 to a position shown by a dotted line by being interlocked with the operation of a trimming lever 4 for setting a trimming rate, and at the time of the trimming mode, the lens hood 12 projects to a position shown by a full line by being interlocked with the operation of the trimming lever 4. When the lens hood 12 does not project, a flare light which is made incident on a photographic lens system 13 from the outside of a photographing range, scattered by a light shielding cylinder inner wall 18 and goes into a screen frame is light-shielded by the lens hood 12, the contrast at the time of the trimming mode is made high, and the picture quality is improved.
