摘要 PURPOSE:To measure frequency characteristics of AE (acoustic emission) sensors to improve the reliability of tool breakage detection by cascading the 1st and the 3rd AE sensors and BPF groups to an AE signal source and supplying their output to a 1/2 power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd AE sensors 3 is connected to the 1st AE sensor 2 driven by an AE band signal generator 1 to transmit an AE signal and the 1st BPF group 4 is connected to its output terminal to make an adjustment so as to obtain the same frequency characteristics with the signal generator 1. Then, the BPF group 4 is connected to the signal generator 1 to drive the sensor 3 and the 3rd AE sensor 5 is connected to the sensor 3 to transmit the AE signal; and the 2nd BPF group 6 is connected to its output terminal to make an adjustment so as to obtain the same frequency characteristics with the signal generator 1. Then, the AE sensor 2 is connected to the signal generator 1, the sensor 5 and BPF group 6 are connected thereto, and the frequency characteristics of the sensor 2 are measured on the basis of the output frequency characteristics of the 1/2-power amplifier 7 supplied with their output.
