PURPOSE:To produce a dressing machine fittest for mass production, by winding metallic wire having specific angle of elevation, depth of thread and thickness around a drum of a cylinder and winding metallic wire having specific angle of elevation and depth of thread around a drum of a doffer. CONSTITUTION:Metallic wire to be wound around a drum of a cylinder has 60 deg.-70 deg. angle of elevations, 0.50-0.85 depth B of thread and 0.5-0.7mm thickness C. Metallic wire to be wound around a drum of a doffer has 55 deg.-65 deg. angle X of elevation, 2.2-3.0mm depth B of thread. Preferably a value obtained by substracting the edge height D from the needle height A of the metallic wire for the cylinder is preferably smaller than the edge height D. Preferably the angle Y of anticline of the metallic wire for the cylinder is 25 deg.-40 deg. and a mild concave curve is formed from the back of the thread tip to the thread bottom. |
