PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a complicated operation on the operating panel of a computer system by initializing the automatic save of a main storage part and a computer restart processing on the computer and starting up automatically them in the failure time of the computer system. CONSTITUTION:A setting means 1 sets each type of a central processing unit, a peripheral processor, a communication equipment and a main storage device which are components constituting the computer system and sets an auxiliary storage device to save the capacity and the content of the main storage device, and the auxiliary storage device to restart the computer. The initializations of them for the automatic save of the main storage part and the restart processing of the computer are generated at the system generation of the computer system. A saving procedure 4, after the processing by an initialization procedure 3, refuges the content of the main storage device on the auxiliary storage device. Also, a restart procedure 6, after the process by the initialization procedure 5, restarts the computer system. |
