PURPOSE:To prevent bending or twisting during baking, by mixing a ceramic powder and a sintering assistant to mold an intermediate body integrating a product part more than four times thicker than the product and a rectangular prism-shaped rib more than three times thicker than the product. CONSTITUTION:About 4wt% of yttrium oxide and about 4wt% of spinel are added as sintering assistant to a silicon nitride powder with the average particle size of about 1mum contained as main component while about 20wt% of an organic binder is added thereto, and both are kneaded together to make an intimate mixture. This mixture is injection molded into a specified die to obtain an injection molding 5. Then, the molding 5 is finished by machining so that the product part 6 and the rib part 7 thereof will be the same as the product in the length and width and be four times and three times as large as that in the thickness respectively after the baking; then, it is baked with a baking furnace, following a deoiling treatment. Thereafter, the product part 6 is cut up horizontally with a diamond cutter into four equally to make four flat plate tensile testing pieces as ceramic sheets. |
