An apparatus for processing of blood by the haematogenic oxidation therapy (HOT) comprises at least one vessel (31) provided with a connection (40) via which oxygen is supplied by means of a hose (43) during processing of the blood. The vessel (31) is furthermore provided with a UV lamp (17.3). During withdrawal of blood and during re-injection of the processed blood, a blood guiding hose (41) whose other end possesses a cannula (42) for insertion into the vein is connected to the vessel (31) which is tightly closed by a plug (36.2). The vessel (31) is furthermore connected to an air pump (32.2) provided with two non-return valves (45.1 and 45.2). <IMAGE>
