PURPOSE:To image various image information by a printer having a single function by converting the image information in a memory based on the output capacity of an image information output device, storing it in the memory again and thereafter, supplying it to an output device. CONSTITUTION:Image information from an input device 1 is stored in a memory 3 and displayed on a CRT 5. In such a case, the number of display dots of the CRT 5 is smaller than the input image information, therefore, the image information in the memory 3 is given to a converter 6 through a bus 11 and reduced and this reduced information is stored in a display memory 4 and displayed on the CRT 5. In this way, the image information in the memory 3 is brought to a magnifying or reducing conversion processing and outputted based on the output capacity of a printer as an output device 2.
