PURPOSE:To easily obtain a multiple copy on the basis of a reference original by forming the image of a starting original on the image formation surface of a recording medium and performing control so that the image of a following original is formed on the same surface with or a different surface from the formation surface on the basis of said image formation surface. CONSTITUTION:An original fed by an original feeding device 11 is scanned by an image reader 2 as a master original to form its image on recording paper fed by a paper feeding device 5 and the recording paper is conveyed to a both-surface unit 4. Then, a conveyance controller 2c sends a driving command to the direction controller 4b of the unit 4 and the recording paper is discharged to an intermediate tray 4a with its image formation surface down and then stopped temporarily. The mounted original is discharged and turned over by the device 1 according to the command of a control part 2b and fed to the platen of the reader 2 again. The control part 2b generates a command for feeding the recording paper placed in the tray 4a and an image is formed multiplicatively by an image forming device 3 on the image formation surface of the recording paper where the image is already formed according to an image signal read by the reader 2. |
