PURPOSE:To smooth the operation of an eccentric bush by applying the surface treatment having the superior abrasion resistance and friction performance onto at least one among the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric bush and the peripheral surface of the eccentric hole on a cranksahft, and preventing the abration of a slidable surface and reducing the frictional resistance. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral surface 26a of an eccentric bush 26 is applied with the surface treatment having the superior abrasion resistance and friction performance. When the eccentric bush 26 is made of an aluminium alloy, the whole outer peripheral surface 26a is applied with the hard alumite treatment. In this case, it is necessary to increase the hardness of the peripheral surface of the eccentric hole 16 on the corresponding crankshaft 14, while in the ordinary case where crankshaft 14 is made of steel, the surface hardening treatment is applied onto the peripheral surface of the eccentric hole 16 through quench. Therefore, the abrasion of the peripheral surface of the eccentric hole 16 and the outer peripheral surface 26a of the eccentric bush 26 is prevented, and the operation of the eccentric bush 26 is smoothened by reducing the fric tional resistance, and the following performance and sealing performance can be improved.
