Filler in the form of granules or powder is fed via a filler conveying device (33) to a mixing container (22) of a mixing and metering device for two-component plastics. The filler inlet (35) is disposed above an inclined pouring surface (36), the run-off edge (37) of which is arranged above an inclined inlet surface (30) for one of the two material components. The material component filled with the filler is drawn off from the mixing container (22) in which a stirring mechanism is arranged. The degree of filling is set by means of a freely programmable control of the conveying device (33) in dependence on the delivery rate of a metering pump for the material component. <IMAGE>
