This invention concerns a device which at the same time constitutes a transportation cradle for a transformer core mounted in a transformer casing and a support for the cover of the transformer casing during vacuum suction. The device consists of one or more tubes 24,25,26 which are welded onto crossbars 3,4,5 which connect the press beams 1,2 and a corresponding number of tubes 27,28,29 which are welded onto corresponding places directly above the first-mentioned tubes on the inside of the cover. The axial length of the tubes is adapted so that there is a play between their free ends when the cover is fastened on. Inside the pairs of opposing tubes are placed blocks 30, 31, 32 of some insulating material of such a length that they touch both the crossbars and the cover. <IMAGE> |
