PURPOSE:To form a compact structure by associating an engine output shaft as a rotor rotational shaft of stator and rotor structures, and forming a motor and a generator with a sole stator and rotor structure. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel 2 is mounted on the output takeup side end of the crankshaft of an engine E. A clutch mechanism 4 is associated with the side end of the flywheel 2, and a stator 6 is mounted to surround the periphery of the flywheel 2. The stator 6 has a stator coil 7. A rotor coil 8 is wound on the outer periphery of the flywheel 2, and a magnetic unit 10 is disposed. The coil 8 is connected with a generator slip ring 12 and a motor commutator 11, the ring 12 is contacted with a generator brush 14 and the commutator 11 is contacted with a motor brush 13. |
