PURPOSE:To make surely watertight in the adhesively fixed part of an optical member to be exposed to the outside of an endoscope by coating a black adhesive agent over the entire part of the side face of said member without coating a light shielding material on the side face. CONSTITUTION:The black adhesive agent 13 is fully coated over the entire side face 12 of the optical member 11 to be exposed to the outside of the endoscope 10 without coating the light shielding material on the side face. The member 11 is closely fixed to the endoscope 10 by the agent 13.
