PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost flux holding device which can actualize the accurate transfer of flux with good production efficiency to an electronic component having different bump height. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a flux holding member 12 which has different-depth recessed parts 14 formed and holds paste-like flux in the recessed parts 14, a scraping member 16 whose lower end part 16A abuts against a slide surface 12A of the flux holding member 12, and an actuator 18 which drives and rotates the flux holding member 12; and supplementary flux excessively held on the slide surface 12A is scraped by the scraping member 16 to fill the unfilled recessed parts 14 and the flux in the recessed parts 14 are held to thickness equal to the depth 14B of the recessed parts 14.
