PURPOSE:To provide the titled varnish composed of an epoxy resin having low hydrolyzable chlorine content, and giving a laminated board having improved heat-resistance and adhesive strength to a metallic foil. CONSTITUTION:The objective epoxy resin varnish can be produced by using an epoxy resin containing <0.04wt% hydrolyzable chlorine and dissolving the epoxy resin in combination with other components such as hardener, etc., in a solvent.
