Cellular baked clay - from foamed clay containing an aryl sulphonate or alkylamino propionic acid

Foamed clay compsn. for baking after drying to form a cellular terra cotta has an aromatic sulphonate or an alkylaminopropionic acid as foaming agent. Stabilising agent helping the drying may be fly ash or fibres of glass wood, slag or asbestos. Large pieces may thus be dried without breaking up.
