<p>The cage comprises several compartments, open at their upper ends, having side walls with ventilation holes and being connected by spacing ribs which form a unitary structure. A peripheral flange at the upper portion of the compartments extends over the ribs to reinforce the cage and facilitate interlocking. At each corner of the cage on the outside and at right angles to the flange is a foot on which a cranked stacking element may be pivoted over the flange. Pref. the cage is made of high-density polyethylene.</p> |
