This device consists of a casing 1, which is fixed to the filler pipe of the tank, and a lid 2 which is integral with the casing and which can be folded down on the latter. The lid comprises a passage 12 at its front part and, when the lid is folded down, this passage prolongs an opening 9 formed in a protrusion 8 located on the front part of the casing. A flexible means traverses this passage from this opening and acts as a means of sealing, rendering the lid integral with the casing. <IMAGE>
