<p>1. Electromagnetic filter used for extracting solid particles carried by a fluid current comprising : - an inlet pipe (4), - an outlet pipe (6), - an envelope (2) placed between the inlet (4) and outlet (6) pipes and connected with these pipes, the filter being characterized in that its operation is continuous, in that the said envelope comprises a drain (20) and in that it comprises : - means (26, 27, 28) of creating, inside the envelope (2), a first magnetic field gradient in the direction of flow of the fluid, and - means (21, 22) for creating, inside the envelope (2) a second magnetic field gradient in a direction perpendicular to the direction of flow of the fluid in order to drive the solid particles towards the drain (20).</p> |
