<p>Conventional container mounted dosage dispensing pumps are restrictive in that they can only dispense small quantities of fluid at a time. To overcome this problem a container (14) having a trigger actuated pump (10) is provided with a sealed spout (24) designed to provide a co-dispensing opening designed to dispense product in larger dosage amounts independently of and as a bypass of the pump (10). The spout extends upwardly from a pummel (20) at the container top and through an opening (26) in a shroud (22) for the pump (10). The spout is adapted to be cut, snipped or otherwise severed to provide the co-dispensing opening.</p> |
