PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of dissolved gas into an oil immersed electric machinery tank, by providing a gas extraction chamber having a space generation means and communicated with a gas detection chamber on the way of the recirculation passage of insulation oil in the oil immersed electric machinery tank and constituting the recirculation passage from oil feed-out piping, oil feed-in piping and bypass piping. CONSTITUTION:Bellows 11 are raised to the upper limit position and insulating oil is allowed to fill a gas extraction chamber 3, oil feed-out piping 5, oil feed-in piping 6 and bypass piping 7 while three-way change-over valves 8, 9 are changed over and a pump 10 is operated to replace the gas in the chamber 3 with the oil 2 in a tank 1 before the pump 10 is stopped. The valves 8, 9 are changed over so as to recirculate the oil 2 between the piping 7 and the chamber 3 and the bellows 11 are moved downwardly to form a space A and the oil 2 is again recirculated by the pump 10 to bring the concn. of dissolved gas in the oil 2 into equilibrium relation to that in the space A before the pump 10 is stopped. After air is flowed into the space A by the opening of opening and closing valves 16-18, the valve 18 is closed and an opening and closing valve 15 is opened while the valve 18 is changed over to guide a gaseous mixture to a gas detection chamber 4 to measure components. When the height of the oil surface is detected by an oil surface detector 9, each valve is returned to the original state to finish measurement. |
