<p>PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of an inventory job, etc. by using a sound device which synthesizes the speech for the data supplied from a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:A data input terminal device sets the conversion unit given from a keyboard 1 to a conversion register 2, and a cycle to deliver in speech the count value of the input data is set previously to a cycle register 3. Both said unit and cycle are fetched by a processor 5, and the processor 5 carries out the processing according to a program given from a memory 4. In an inventory job, etc. the product name codes are fetched to the processor 5 by a bar code reader 7 via an interface 6. The data undergo the speech synthesization 8 based on those product name codes and are delivered through a speaker 10. Then an operator pushes a count button 11 after the product name codes are fetched. Thus a counting action is started with reference to the register 2 and this count value is stored to the memory 4 and also undergoes the speech synthesization 8 to be delivered through the speaker 10 via an amplifier 9.</p> |
