PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and size of the smoke detector by photodetecting emitted light from a light emission part by plural photodetection parts, and integrating smoke detection signals which are outputted by the respective photodetection parts and attenuated by smoke by an integrating means and calculating the amount of smoke. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 1 has plural independent smoke detection parts and a couple of detection parts consist of a light emission part 2a, photodetection part 4a, and smoke detection space 3a and use light emitting elements and photodetecting elements having the same characteristics. Further, an amplifying means 5, integrating device 6 with an arithmetic processing means, and comparator 7 are provided. When smoke flows in a smoke detection area 3a, light emitted by the light emission part 2a is attenuated by the smoke and the photodetection part 4a outputs a smoke detection signal. Further, the integrating device 6 performs arithmetic on the basis of an amplified signal and the result is inputted to and compared with a reference voltage by the comparator 7, so that when an analog value corresponding to the amount of smoke attains to the reference voltage, a fire signal is outputted. |
