A composition comprising a vinyl ester resin made by condensing an epoxy resin and an ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid can be made thixotropic, and given good handling and other properties, by the addition of a condensation product of a sugar alcohol and an aromatic aldehyde, such as a benzylidene sorbitol. |
