PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a back mirror for a vehicle, by a method wherein, through remote control of a driving unit mounted in a mirror housing, the mirror housing is moved on a basis of a base to adjust the inclination of a mirror. CONSTITUTION:In a door mirror, a sliding support surface 3 in a concave circle in horizontal cross section is formed in the outer surface of a base 22 secured to the outer surface of a door, and a support arm 4 is protruded outwardly from about the intermediate part of the surface 3. Meanwhile, a sliding surface 7 in a convex circle in horizontal cross section, matching said surface 3, is formed on the base part of a mirror housing 6, a mounting arm 8 is integrally formed in the housing 6, and the arm is rotatably coupled to a support arm 4, inserted through a notch part 10 in the base part of the housing 6, by means of a support shaft 11. A crank gear 20, rotated by a motor 21, of a driving unit 17 mounted in the housing 6 is geared with a spur gear 16 secured to the support shaft 11, and the mirror housing 6 is rotated through rotation of the spur gear 16. |
