An adjustable spring opposing bearing arrangement for springs which are arranged in holes contains a disc and an adjusting element. The disc is fixed in the axial direction in the hole and contains a central opening as well as a large number of pairs of radially extending slots which are diametrically opposite within one pair and have a length which differs from pair to pair. The adjusting element supports two flaps which project in the axial direction, are inclined inwards and can be inserted into a pair of slots. For operation, the adjusting element contains an operating holder which is accessible from outside the hole through the central opening in the disc, in order to adjust the distance of the base part of the adjusting element from the disc in steps.
