A cleaning composition containing 1,1,2,2-tetrachloro-1,2-difluoroethane, 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and at least one other organic solvent having a melting point of not more than 15 DEG C. and a boiling point of 40 DEG to 150 DEG C. and capable of forming an azeotrope with at least one of said 1,1,2,2-tetrachloro-1,2-difluoroethane and 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane.
