<p>Sliding-clasp fastener comprises a clasp with spaced upper and lower plates joined by a neck at the centre of the front end to form a Y-shaped guide channel for passage of the coupling members. The clasp neck has an inwardly converging rear end zone. At the top end of the fastener are two opposed end stops which are encompassed by the guide channel when the clasp is at the top. On the inner surface of each stop between its front and rear corners is a recess with a flat central zone. When the clasp is at the top, the front inner corners abut against opposite sides of the clasp neck, and their rear inner corners abut against each other so that the recesses coact with the rear end zone of the neck t form a V-shaped gap.</p> |
