PURPOSE:To allow a calling subscriber to register an absence incoming number to a called subscriber by own will by conducting the registration of said number in response to the hooking operation of the calling subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone set 8 dials the number of a telephone set 1 and receives no response because of absence; a central controller 4 detects the information through the hooking of the telephone set 8 and accesses an incoming number registration memory corresponding to address information of the telephone set 1 provided to the specific memory area of a main storage device 5 to retrieve whether or not the incoming number from the telephone set 8 is registered in the memory. As a result, if no number is registered, said incoming number information and the incoming time information read from a clock circuit 7 are registered by the method as shown in the fig. When the incoming number from the telephone set 8 is registered already, only the incoming time information is rewritten and registered by the time for the case. After the registration, the link reservation between a digital line circuit 2 and a line circuit or a digital line circuit 6, a ringing tone and a ring back tone are restored, a service setting tone is transmitted to the calling telephone set 8 so as to inform the end of registration. |
