PURPOSE:To reduce the installation space and reduce the number of the parts of an air-cooled fuel cell system by installing an even number of cells around one blower and isotropically connecting the blower to the cells by means of ducts so as to form air circulation paths. CONSTITUTION:In an air-cooled fuel cell system, which is provided with one blower (Bw), air circulation paths are partially used in common. Four cells (FC1-FC4) are placed in different quadrants determined by the X axis and the Y axis intersecting at an original point at which the blower (Bw) is installed. Owing to the above constitution, the cells (FC1-FC4) can be placed in high density. Besides, since the cells (FC1-FC4) and air flow paths are placed isotropically, the balancing of air circulation is facilitated. The exhaust ducts of the cells (FC1-FC4) are connected to a common exhaust path (B-C) and the air supply ducts of the cells (FC1-FC4) are connected to a common air supply path (b-c). In addition, the central points (A) and (a) of the common exhaust path (B-C) and the common air-supply path (b-c) are connected by a common path (A-a) having the blower (BW) so as to form an air circulation path. |
